Our team of volunteers is serving 15-20 families per week as we round out 2025. With the increase in requests, comes an increasing strain on finances. Your donations go directly to helping families in need.

In 2025 we helped ~250 families and with our current requests from both individuals, agencies, and other nonprofits, we expect to serve 800+ families in 2026.Â
In October 2025, we were awarded the Small Marks-Mighty Impact Grant from Rettew. And then in November, Lamar donated billboard space to us, allowing us to get in front of 266,000 eyes over a 4 week period.
We’re also the focus of Roots a Hair Salon’s holiday fundraiser as they accept donations of diapers, wipes, baby wash/shampoo, and other essential items our families need.
Your Donations Matter
💞 Because of your donations, we were able to help over 20 families in Cumberland county stay out of foster care by providing basic essential items such as beds, baby gates, car seats, dressers, etc.
💞 Because of your donations we were able to support grandparents forced into the role of guardianship for their grandchildren due to circumstances out of their control.
💞 Because of your donations were were able to give hope and resources for domestic violence survivors who fled with nothing but the clothes on their backs and their children.
💞 Because of your donations we were able to help young teen moms with resources for their children so they could focus on what matters most….their family.
💞 Because of your donations we were able to provide emergency resources to foster parents with brand new placements.
💞 Because of your donations we were able to help several moms come home from UPMC Harrisburg Hospital with their newborns, who needed basic essentials such as a car seat in order to be discharged.
💞 Because of your donations a local mom who recently had a baby, was able to care for her 2 young children, while her husband was in the ICU.
💞 Because of your donations volunteers with Safe Families for Children were able to take in vulnerable kids and walk with their families through challenging times.
