Every child deserves the essentials.
Tiny Tykes Essentials is a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides FREE resources for local foster families and families in need. We believe that every child deserves the essentials and we’ve made it our mission to make that happen here in Central Pennsylvania and the surrounding area.
Those in need of support can make an appointment with our team. At the intake meeting, you’ll fill out a brief form about you and your family so we can add you to our system.
The volunteer will ask you what items you’re in need of, and if we have them in stock, we’ll get them for you that day. Sometimes we may need to ask you to come back to pick the items up once we have everything ready.
We do our best to accommodate families, though sometimes we don’t have everything requested. Items we do NOT give out include: money, gift cards, help with rent, or other monetary requests.

- Clothing NB – 14
- Diapers and wipes
- High chairs
- Cribs
- Bassinets
- Diaper bags
- Toddler beds
- Car seats
- Toiletries
- And other essential items for their children.
Because of Your Support...
Because of your generous support, in 2025 we were able to help over 250 families with essentials for their kids.
And we were able to expand the services we offer.
In 2026 we will now be fulfilling clothing orders in-house! We’ve also begun working with healthcare facilities in Harrisburg. Thank you for your generous giving!
Local Partners
We work with foster care agencies, Children and Youth agencies, churches, pregnancy centers, school districts, New Hope Ministries, and other local nonprofits. Assisting other organizations in caring for the local community is extremely important to our team of volunteers. Donations
We are always accepting donations and appreciate those who have been serving the community in this way.
Please note: Donations of used items should be clean and like-new.
Online donations are made through a software called Zeffy which is 100% free for us to use. When you’re making a donation, you’ll notice they automatically add an additional amount to go to the software platform. To bypass that, select “other” and type in $0 for your donation.
100% of your donation goes to those in need.
There are NO salaries, NO rental fees or exorbitant operational expenses. The only fees we incur are for insurance, necessary software to run TTE, and storage items like shelves and bins.
TTE started in February 2023, and since then we’ve been able to help hundreds of families thanks to our generous donors!
